From the latter two it is possible to reach one of the three islands that are still inhabited, Island Maggiore. Citta delle Pieve is about 25 kilometres from the lake is a quiet, quaint medieval village that was also inhabited by Etruscans and Roman alike., here you will find the narrowest alley in Italy .Citta delle Pieve is 500 metres in height and dominates Lake Trasimeno and the Valdichiana. A day dedicated to art and nature with a culinary break to enjoy local produce.

Pick up from your residence and go directly to Passignano. A coffee break in one of the many places beside the lake is a must. From here it is possible to visit the island Maggiore by boat in about 15 mins. On your return we go to Citta delle Pieve (about 45 mins journey) where you can have lunch at one of the traditional restaurants. In the afternoon you are free to explore this beautiful town.Which has been the location for many television dramas.
